Almost everyone will reply they desire additional storage if you ask them what aspect of their kitchen they would most like to change. It’s a worldwide issue. However, there is one incredibly easy way to create more storage space: Dispose of items. more particularly, the items that don’t actually belong in the kitchen! (Yes, we are totally in favor of less kitchen appliances and dishes overall, but we’re here to speak about the other stuff.)
Your kitchen has a whole category of items taking up space unnecessarily, and dealing with it doesn’t include making choices about what to keep and what to throw away. The possibilities for kitchen organization are endless when you simply go through your kitchen and remove items that really belong somewhere else.
Here are some items that may be in your kitchen but should be located elsewhere.
1. Vases
Vases are difficult to place, so consider keeping them in the pantry, garage, or basement. These too frequently wind up under the kitchen sink, which already has enough issues without adding a bunch of uneven glass.
2. Papers
Get it off your kitchen counters, whether it’s junk mail, legitimate mail, permission slips, receipts, or priceless love letters from the kids. Never place paper stacks on the floor in the kitchen. Deal with papers when you have them in your hands or place them on your desk in a letter tray.
3. Backstock
It is difficult to access what you need when you need it when you store your extra paper towels or cans of beans in the kitchen, which is the antithesis of an efficient kitchen. You’ll free up valuable space in the kitchen and make it more convenient to prepare if you can keep your extras or overflow in a less visible cabinet or on a top sheltra
4 Sunglasses
We understand the process. Once the groceries are all put away, you finally remove the sunglasses that were shoved upon your forehead when you first entered the house. However, they don’t belong in the kitchen (because to space concerns and the likelihood that they need cleaning). Keep those counters clear and uncluttered by placing them back in your purse or on the entryway tray.
5. Keys
The sunglasses wind up in the kitchen in a similar manner. And once more, I bet your keys are filthy. Put them back in your purse or leave them at the door.
Additionly; Equipment and tools
Take it back to the hardware section because items of this nature frequently wind up in the junk drawer unless you’ve set up a space in there particularly for, say, that screwdriver. All of your loose screws are the same. (Hahaha.)
